Op-Ed Commentary
Our
view : Very fishy...
At
first impression, it seems very fishy to many people Chavez landslide
presidential victory last Sunday. It just too many votes for him
and too little for the candidate of the opposition, in spite of
all previous indications.
Rationally,
it does not seem to add up. Why not wait and see how the manual
count compared with the certified manual tally's of the 52% of
the ballot boxes.
This
is what seems dubious to a lot of people.... Why Rosales did not
wait to check the manual count and compare it to the electronic
numbers?
The
reasonable attitude from Rosales should have been telling the
nation that he would ascertain or refuse Chavez's victory after
checking the electronic numbers with the manual sample.
Validate
or refuse.... The question will linger: why did he choose the
other path?
