Eletrobras está en camino de reducir su deuda: presidente ejecutivo

La eléctrica estatal brasileña Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras SA confía en finalizar de forma exitosa un programa de venta de activos que busca reducir su endeudamiento, dijo el miércoles el presidente ejecutivo Wilson Ferreira Junior.

Eletrobras espera que el EBITDA, un indicador de las ganancias operacionales, aumente en 1.100 millones de reales (347,55 millones de dólares) luego de que se complete la privatización de unas deficitarias unidades de distribución en el norte y noreste del país.

La compañía puede reducir la relación de deuda neta/EBITDA a 3,3 a fines del 2017, en comparación con el 4,7 que registraba en junio, y el ratio podría caer a 2,4 en 2018, dijo Ferreira Jr.
