Miscue
George
W. Bush, in the opening the keynote speech at the Asia-Pacific
Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum on his visit to Sydney, miscue
and thanked John Howard, Australian Prime
Minister "for being such a fine host for the OPEC summit" ,
Bush
corrected
himself quickly and said "APEC
summit," and also said "He invited
me to the OPEC summit next year." he said. White House aides later said
Bush
was joking and would not, in fact, attend an
