Chavez's attacked

Surprisingly, the recently retired five stars General Raul Baduel, Hugo Chavez's defense minister until July and Hugo's buddy, came out today and said in a televised press conference, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's plans to overhaul the nation's constitution represent a coup d'etat "in practice" Chavez is violating the present constitution and should be fully rejected by voters. Baduel added that the propose new constitution strips citizens of some fundamental rights and scraps checks and balances on the state. It urged voters to reject the plan in a national referendum scheduled for Dec. 2
