A deserve applause

WE applaud King Carlos of Spain, who this weekend told Venezuela's President, Hugo Chavez, to "shut up." King Carlos' comment came Saturday during a heated exchange at the end of a summit of leaders from Latin America, Spain and Portugal. Chavez had repeatedly referring to former Spanish President Jose Maria Aznar as a "fascist [and] Fascists are not human. A snake is more human." Showing some courage for the first time, Spain's current prime minister, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, urged Chavez to be more diplomatic in his actions and noted that "President Aznar was democratically elected by the Spanish people and was a legitimate representative of the Spanish people." Chavez repeatedly tried to interrupt, ending when King Juan Carlos, seated next to Zapatero, turned to Chavez and said, "Why don't you shut up?" It was beautiful! Two cheers for King Juan Carlos!
