Kirchner
It
seems that Nestor Kirchner may want to become a a petroleum
magnate. Rumors said that he is the brain behind the move to
buy a 25% stake in YPF from Repsol YPF with the help of Credit
Suisse leading the group of banks and Argentine executive Enrique
Eskenazi,
owner and CEO of Banco Santa Cruz. The deal is an estimated
at
$4bn.
YPF’s market cap is value at ARP48.7bn, according to Economatica
at ARP48.7bn. The Banco Santa Cruz is instrumental in securing
a bridge loan.
