Mexico's target

Mexico is to push for an energy legislation reform with a new proposal by Mexico's Energy Commission with the backing of the ruling party. The new energy reform proposal will give state oil company PEMEX a push to get partners to develop deepwater oil and gas deposits in the Gulf of Mexico. Mexican president Felipe Calderon and the Senate's energy committee also will introduce new legislation with the same objective.
