Obama is W.C.
The Republican conservatives are convinced that once Barack Obama is commander in chief he will surrender the US to international terrorism. Thus, Sarah Palin, when questioned yesterday on Obama's fitness to be commander in chief, voiced serious doubt, indicating that Obama still did not understand the terrorist threat and would need to be guided by staff who did understand the threat.
Senator McCain first set the tone for questioning Obama's ability to be commander in chief by focusing on Obama's connections with Bill Ayres and Bernadine Dohrn. MCain also attacked Obama's association with the PLO.
In short, the Republican conservatives are saying that US voters have just elevated to the presidency someone who has forgotten the lessons of Munich, at best, or who is an agent of the international terrorists, at worst.
As a result the American people must prepare themselves for waves of terrorist attacks against the US. Barack Obama will open a new era of Munich. Barack will be another Neville Chamberlain.
The time has come for the Republican Conservatives to take a step back and get in touch with reality. The truth is that the US has already suffered under a new version of Neville Chamberlain. The name of this US appeaser is George Bush.
To put this issue another way, even assuming Barack is a traitor to the US, pro-terrorist, and an appeaser, Obama would be unable to betray the Middle East and Latin America to Iran because Bush has already been there, done that!
Three weeks ago the Washington Post carried an op-ed on Nicaragua by Jackson Diehl, entitled “Ortega Amnesia.” According to Jackson Diehl, President Bush is Daniel Ortega's new best friend. This Managua-Washington Axis helps explain why Bush is silent as Iran builds its terror organizations throughout Latin America.
We now know why Bush remains silent as Ecuador, Bolivia and Argentina are pulled into Hugo Chavez's orbit.
We know why Bush remains silent as the Shining Path (Sendero Luminoso) resurfaces in Peru, this time around in partnership with the Peruvian drug cartels.
We know why Bush (with a an assist from GEN Petraeus) is allowing Iran to be the new occupying power in Iraq.
Finally, we know why Bush intends to normalize US-Iran relations by opening the first US diplomatic office in Iran since the downfall of the Shah.
However, the Republican conservatives should not despair. Good news is on the way. Obama cannot take the role of Neville Chamberlain, which was monopolized and exhausted in content by Bush. Instead, Obama must take the role of Winston Churchill! Remember, you first found this prediction here.
