And now CITGO
With all the
accidents and breakdowns that have affected Venezuela's oil company
PDVSA with in the last months, its now the turn of its U.S. subsidiary
CITGO. Citgo told Wednesday a US authority that a sulfate recovery
unit stopped working in the eastern plant of its refinery of 165,000
bpd, located in Corpus Christi, Texas, resulting in a production
drop by 65-75 percent of diesel and gasoline. A Citgo spokesman
explained that under the corporate policy, no comments can be
made on daily operations.
