Moving ahead

 

Bolivia is on the move, now that president Evo Morales has appointed a new head for the National oil company YPFB. The major natural gas pipeline between Bolivia and Argentina resumed operation Thursday, a day after Bolivian protesters shut its valves in opposition to Argentina's recent move to raise taxes and limit imports by border-crossers, preventing he delivery of some 8.5 million cubic metres of gas, but new YPFB president Juan Carlos Ortiz said yesterday that it had been resolved to the "maximum satisfaction" of Argentine state energy company Enarsa.
