Attack ?
ON THE POLITICAL FRONT, all eyes are upon Iran and the meetings that are to begin today in Geneva. We have no idea of the outcome and we are not prone to speculation on these sorts of matters, but thus far Iran has been uncommonly belligerent in all such matters, and has obfuscated all authorities on all such fronts for years. Why should we expect Iran to be any different now than it has in the past? We do not.
The problem was compounded over this past weekend when it was reported that Iran lost is sole AWACs aircraft during an air show when it and one of its escort planes collided in mid-air and crashed to the ground, killing all aboard.
Were we Israel, and had we found out that Iran’s AWACs systems had been so
compromised, we’d be acting sooner rather than later upon Iran and its nuclear facilities for Iran’s “radar” defenses are now damaged sufficiently to make a successful attack all that much more likely.
