Russia is arming Venezuela's Chavez, with beginning the construction of arms plants in Venezuela’s to produce AK-103 automatic rifles and cartridges, Chávez purchased 100,000 AK-103 rifles in 2006, also Russia is finalizing contracts to send 53 military helicopters and 24 Sukhoi fighter jets, 300 tanks and other armored vehicles ( T72 tanks) , thousands of Russian-made missiles and rocket launchers that includes Russian-made Igla-1S surface-to-air missiles, rocket-propelled grenades and bazooka-like AT-4 . It seems that the new arsenal Chavez capability to engage war is boosted, with whom ? . That's the big question. ? Is Russia playing Chavez against the U.S. in Colombia, is this a new version of the Cuban crisis ? There is a lot yet to be develop but the writing is on the wall.
