Sulfurous UN

At the end of this short note you will find the link to the bizarre speech that drew giggles, and moderate applause when he refer to Bush as "The devil came here yesterday," from some of the few delegates present. The scathing attack on the US, and its President "the devil", was repetitive, sophomoric and for all purposes the failing mental health certificate of a delirious man obsessed with being acknowledged by George W. Bush. I would dare say that Mr. Chavez has made it very difficult for any level headed country - and there are still some in the world - to cast a vote to include Bolivarian Venezuela in the UNSC. The talk in the corridors of the UN was that after today's flippant performance, a secret vote might yield only the votes of Cuba, Syria, Iran and Chile.

The speech is 15 minutes, double the allotted time. Worth watching if you have nothing better to do. - Pedro Miguel Burelli.
