Obama “good, ol’ college try.”

President Obama actually believes that he is a pro-business President and if this were not so sad it would be a comical statement, for he is anything but pro-business. Indeed, in our opinion he is archly anti-business. In an interview with Bloomberg’s Businessweek, the President actually said

The irony is, is that on the Left we are perceived as being in the pockets of big business; and then on the business side, we are perceived as being anti-business…. You would be hard-pressed to identify a piece of legislation that we have proposed out there that, net, is not good for businesses.

We will posit proposed taxes on banks; proposed taxes on corporations; the “Pay Czar;” the proposed health care legislation; the unwillingness to allow for off-shore oil drilling; the support of the nonsense that is global warming oriented cap & trade and we could go on and on and on. Is President Obama Pro-business? In his own leftward oriented eyes, apparently yes, but in our eyes, hardly… but we congratulate him for trying to fool us that he is; we always appreciate a “good, ol’ college try.”
