14 in the fight

Fourteen groups put down the money to purchase bidding package for the US$2bn E&P natural gas contracts in the Burgos basin and are aim to increase natural gas production by 200Mf3/d (5.66Mm3/d). The E&P natural gas contracts are for the Nejo, Monclova and Euro blocks.The following companies purchased Nejo block: Repsol Exploración México, Cobra Instalaciones México, PTD Servicios Múltiples, Tecpetrol de México and Swecomex. Monclova block : Repsol Exploración México, PTD Servicios Múltiples, Construcciones Mecánicas Monclova, Grupo Creatica, Lewis Energy México, Minera Carbonifera Rio Escondido, Coahuila Industrial Minera and Monclova Pirineos Gas. And Euro block: Repsol Exploración México, Swecomex, Tecpetrol de México, PTD Servicios Múltiples, Grupo Creatica, Cobra Instalaciones México, Encana Corporation, Petrodomos Servicios Industriales and Grupo Operador de Ingeniería y Montajes. Deadlines for entering bidds are: Nejo, Monclova and Euro are October 18, November 1 and November 8 respectively with offers due October 24, November 7 and November 14.
