Scott Sullivan: Joe Biden U.S. president ?

President Joe Biden in 2012? Yes!

If Vice President Biden has any time on his hands during this Thanksgiving holiday, he would be prudent to organize his files so that he is prepared to make a quick move to the Oval Office as the new president of the United States of America.

How could this happen?

Bararck Obama's tenure in the presidency is defended by the three top operatives in US politics, Obama himself, and Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton. Plus, this Obama team pulled a mandate out of the 2012 3election that will mobilize his formidible political base if he is removed from office, evem to the point of staging a vast international campaign of civil disobedience to protect Obama. This is bold talk, but it is largely irrelevant to the battles that now surround Obama and the Clintons. Obama and the Clintons cannot take action to secure Obama as President because they are too late. Here are the reasons why.

First, if you are following the RIce-McCain confrontation, you notice that the Democrats need to win five votes to confirm Ambassador Rice as Secretary of State, over persistent hard core Republican opposition, As the Benghazi scandal at the congressional hearingd intensifies, especially if allegations are cohfirmed that the US was shipping Libyan weapons to Syria, Rice will go down to defeat and pull down Hillary Clinton, Rice's only boss, who would be ogligated to pay for Rice's alleged transgressions. Moreover, if Hillary Clinton's fails at the Benghazi' she would pull down Obama, her only boss, who would be obligated to pay for Rice's and Clinton's trarnsgressions by resigning his office.

Besides, if the Benghazi transgressions fail tp remove Clinton and Obamaa, the Clinton blunders in Egyot and Syria wilt rernove these two. Whatever the merits of individual pieces of Clinton''s policies in Egypt and Syria, the accurate big picture -- ignoring State Department spin both countries seem to heading for permanent large scale civil war. If Obama cannot bring new policy to Egypt and Syria, and pull key leftists like Tom Hayden into his foreign policy circle. as well as pull in key conservatives like Jim Gilmore and Newt Gingrich, then Biden should have Obama's job, regardless of what did or did not happen at Benghazi.
