Dear Mr. Taha Abdulla Baharoon:
Thank you for reading my articles and finding the time to comment
on them. I also see that you read my blog. This is great to hear
since I did not know I had readers in Abu Dhabi. You wonder why
I figure so prominently in that blog. Well, is my blog, Mr. Baharoon
and, if I cannot figure prominently in my own blog, where else
could I?
You claim that I have “assaulted” verbally Hugo Chavez
and now Rafael Ramirez. Have you heard what they have to say
about their adversaries or political dissenters in Venezuela,
a country you probably have never visited? I can assure you that
the assault is really made by them and we are just trying to
counter attack. You quote an adage: “By their fruits you
shall know them” trying to criticize my “rude” language.
If you read the Bible (I guess you don’t) you can also
read: “With the yardstick you measure you shall be measured”.
In Venezuela we say: He who kills with the sword cannot die from
the blows of a hat.
Nevertheless I said to myself, “maybe I am being too rude
and Mr. Baharoon is right. I have to be more careful with my
language”, until I found out that Mr.
Baharoon is not really
interested in the purity of my language but is just a full-time
writer of comments on anything that promotes Islamic predominance
in the world and in favor of those who hate the United States.
Here is what he said in August 18, 2006: “We [Islam] are
the best people sent to mankind, though the westerners with their
current “gay Marriage” civilization cannot comprehend
this fact because of the awful social status they have put themselves
into now…”
Mr. Baharoon writes incessantly to many blogs and publications
claiming that Islam will prevail. He is anti- U.S., anti-Semitic,
anti-gays and anti-Christian. In my blog he commented that Chavez’s
calling a BBC reporter stupid was “a calm and straightforward
answer” to the stupid question. Well, this is not the way
a president should answer, Mr. Baharoon.
Mr. Baharoon is even interested in the subject of oral sex, as
he commented, in June 26, 2000 on the dangers of the blowjob
in a site that specializes in this topic. He probably can tell
us a lot about Monica Lewinsky.
Mr. Baharoon also claims that an Arab herb, discovered by Sheik
Al Zindani cures cancer, but that the West is not happy that
this breakthrough has come from Islamic sources.
Well, Mr. Baharoon, what else can I say? I hope you keep reading
our publications and I will be most alert to your comments. I
never had a pen pal born in Zanzibar.
Gustavo Coronel
P.S. By the way, in Spanish the name is always the family name.
You call me Mr. Gustavo but should call me Mr. Coronel. I am
not a so-called oil industry veteran. Anyone that has spent
25 or more years in an industry is properly called a veteran.
Also, be careful with your grammar: you misspelled the words
obscene, illiterate and dictator.
Finally, you claim that no one speaks of Bush as I speak of
Chavez and Ramirez. I can see that you have not heard Chavez
speaking
about Bush: he calls him Satan, a genocide, a drunkard and a
donkey and accuses Condoleeza Rice of having the “hots” for
him. Wouldn’t this show bad taste on the part of Ms. Rice?
