Thank you for the perceptive comment on the complexities of Kudish-Iranian relations.  Iran,of course, wants the best of both worlds.  On the one hand Iran works closely with Talabani to partition Iraq, with Iran taking Basra and the PUK/PKK taking Kirkuk.  On the other hand, Iran suppresses the PJAK because it wants to partition Iran, just as Iran wants to partition Iraq.
