A Saudi suspect wanted in connection with a bid to blow up the
world's largest oil-processing plant in Saudi Arabia, has been
arrested in neighbouring Iraq, Iraqiya state television reported
Tuesday.
The suspect, identified as Abdallah Salah al-Harbi, was detained
by Iraqi border guards in the Samawa area, in southern Iraq.
Suicide bombers attempted to penetrate the world's largest oil-processing
plant at Abqaiq, in the oil-rich eastern Saudi province, on Friday
but their attack was thwarted leaving two security men dead. The
two would-be suicide bombers were also killed.
An Al-Qaeda statement posted on the Internet claimed responsibility
for the attack.
