Ecuador's returned to normal oil production levels Tuesday, Ecuador's
oil company Petroecuador said Tuesday. Oil capacity had fallen 27% during
a six-day strike earlier this month by 4,000 contract workers from Orellana
and Sucumbios provinces.
Petroecuador
estimates loses of 550,000 barrels of oil production as a result of the
strike.
Petroecuador
said it will produce 200,020 barrels Tuesday, against the low point of
55,696 b/d during the strike.
Petroecuador
production is 35% of Ecuador's total oil production.
