Chevron Venezuela in partnership with Banauge, a Venezuelan non-profit
Civil Association belonging to the Cesap Social Group (Popular Action
Service Center), finalized Wednesday the third “Micro Businessmen
Training Workshop” as part of the program “Building a Productive
Leadership”.
The
topics that were addressed in the forum in which over 80 participants
attended amongst enterprising businessmen, micro businessmen, and other
representatives related to the micro enterprise matter covered the following
issues: training and technical assistance programs, competitiveness
strengthening, social responsibility, micro finance support, reality
of the small and medium enterprises (PYMES), productive leadership for
the micro enterprise, and managing model projects for the incorporation
of new productive actors to the social services.
Beyond the credit access issue, the event – which was also sponsored
by the energy company – encouraged a brainstorm between experts
in the areas of social security and company development.
Such speeches were performed by representatives of the Ministry of Labor,
IVSS, Conindustria, Fundes, Micros and Pymes, Cooperar, Banauge and
Cesap.
The closure of these workshops was officially made in the framework
of the Forum “Towards the Expansion and Entrenchment of the Micro
Enterprise”, which was held at the Cesap Social Group headquarters.
