Venezuela's Suelopetrol to resume
drilling in lake Maracaibo shore at its Cabimas field

Henrique Rodriguez, president of Venezuelan oil company Suelopetrol
told reporters that the company plans to resume drilling at its Lake
Maracaibo shore at its Cabimas oil field in 2007.
The
drilling will resume after drilling three wells in late 2005 and early
2006, company President Henrique Rodriguez said Tuesday.
"We're
going to move into a new drilling campaign... in 2007," Rodriguez
said at an Venezuelan oil industry event.
Rodriguez
said at an industry event production at the field is currently at around
6,800 barrels a day of 21 degree API and "We're going to move into
a new drilling campaign... in 2007."
