Petrobras president, Jose Sergio Gabrielli de Azevedo, will present
the
company's 2007-2011 business plan to investors and market analysts
tomorrow, Wednesday, July 12th, in New York.
The plan foresees investments in the order of $87.1 billion for the
next
five years, a 7.8% increase a year in oil and natural gas production,
in
addition to expansions in ethanol exports, which are expected to reach
3.5 million cubic meters in 2011.
Approved by Petrobra's Board of Directors, this is the most robust plan
of the past few years: among other advancements, the significant
investments aim at the long-term production of 4,556,000 barrels of
oil
and gas in 2015.
The plan guarantees self-sufficiency sustainability, advances in the
natural gas area, and boosts participation in petrochemicals,
bio-refining (using soybean oil), and in biofuels. Of the total
investments, $12.1 billion will be made abroad.
From New York, Petrobra's president will go to Boston, on Thursday,
the
13th, and to London, on Friday, the 14th, where he will carry out another
round of the 2007-2011 Business Plan road show.
