Chille's ENAP to invest additional $36 million in Ecuador through 2026

Chilean President Michelle Bachelet pledge to her Ecuadorean counterpart, Alfredo Palacios that Chile's oil company ENAP, will invest an additional $36 million in Ecuador through 2026 to extract a projected 57.1 million barrels of oil from Ecuadorean fields, said Bachelet Tuesday in a press conference.

They also signed deals for Ecuador crude and fuel supplies to Chile.The agreement took place amid a visit from Chilean President Michelle Bachelet to Ecuador, and deals for Ecuador crude and fuel supplies to Chile wee also agree.

ENAP executives also expressed in managing oil block 15, ex-Oxy field.

ENAP operates in Ecuador since 2002 providing oil field services, and currently produces 20,000 barrels a day.
