PEMEX to launch tender at Poza Rica-Altamira basing

Mexican oil company Pemex plans to launch an international tender on November 23, to help with the development of the Poza Rica-Altamira oil and gas basin.

PEMEX will hire technical support to help identify development areas and determine optimum production design to maximize the deposits' economic value, according to draft bidding rules.

The contract will run 668 days and the work will take place in the states of Puebla, Veracruz and Tamaulipas.

Offers are due January 8 and work is scheduled to begin in March.
