All Mexico's Gulf oil and petrochemicals ports reopened to shipping early
Wednesday as weather conditions improved after 24 hours of severe winds and
heavy seas that led to their closure, the ministry of Communications and
Transportation reported.

But the sole Pacific Coast oil port, Salina Cruz which handles less than 10% of Mexico's exports, remained closed.

Reports from the main oil and petrochemicals ports: Gulf Coast--Altamira, open, winds east- southeast 2-4 kph, waves 2 feet; Coatzacoalcos (Pajaritos), open, winds north-nothwest 20-25 kph, waves 3-4 feet; Dos Bocas, open, winds east-northeast 15-20 kph, waves 5-6 feet; Cayo Arcas, open, winds northeast 35-45 kph, waves 4-6 feet. Pacific Coast--Salina Cruz, closed, winds northerly 65-70 kph, waves 4 feet.
