Peru's road show to offer 18 new oil & gas areas

Perupetro will star a road show in January at Houston to promote 18 new potential oil and gas areas in Peru, Perupetro Chief Daniel Saba said Wednesday.

"We are going to launch the venture in order to attract new companies," media reported Saba as saying, "sometime between Jan. 30 and Feb. 5.", he added.

This year the government has signed a record 16 new exploration and production contracts, said Saba.

Saba said, the 18 new areas are located throughout Peru, including several offshore opportunities.

Saba also said that the road show will continue in Canada in May and is also there is possibility to go to London.
