PDVSA is to restart a catalytic cracker at El Palito refinery next February

Venezuela's oil company PDVSA is to restart a catalytic cracker at El Palito refinery next February 12th, said Wednesday PDVSA Comercialization and Logistics Director Asdrúbal Chávez.

"It is starting on February 12th," Asdrúbal Chávez said.

The 130,000 bpd refinery has been out of order for a couple of weeks due to a failure at the beginning January. El Palitohad continued operational troubles throughout 2006.
