Manuel Morales, new president of the state company
Bolivian Tax Oil Fields (YPFB), promised to complete the process of
transformation of hydrocarbons in the country, press sources report
on Tuesday.
"My
aim is to go ahead with a process that combines experience and professional
capacity with the strength of Bolivian youth," the executive
told "El Deber" newspaper.
Morales
said he will explain next week the country s plans for 2007 and praised
the work done by former YPFB president Juan Carlos Ortiz, who resigned
last week.
The decree of
nationalization of hydrocarbons has defined YPFB s new characteristics
and Ortiz is committed to carry them out.
