Chevron Corp. (CVX.N: Quote, Profile, Research) agreed on Wednesday to sell its fuel marketing business in Uruguay to the state-owned petroleum marketing and distribution company D.U.C.S.A. as the U.S. company focuses its downstream operations on its more competitive regions.

Chevron said D.U.C.S.A. will add 90 Texaco-branded service station to its retail network in Uruguay. The stations are expected to be rebranded to D.U.C.S.A.'s ANCAP brand.
