Hungary
signs onto Russia's South Stream pipeline

Hungary on Thursday signed up to Russia's politically
sensitive South Stream gas pipeline project at a Kremlin ceremony attended by
the Hungarian premier and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
An agreement titled "On cooperation in building a pipeline for transit of
natural gas through Hungary" was signed by Russian Energy Minister Viktor
Khristenko and Hungary's Finance Minister Janos Veres.
